These are real events produced by the Double D Project team on Phuket since 2013: birthdays and anniversaries, yacht parties, villa parties, public events and festivals, romantic dinners, corporate programmes and conferences, wedding ceremonies. Every photo was taken at our own setups — our sound, our lighting, our decor and our artists. Below is what we actually do in each format, what equipment we bring and what it costs.
We work across the whole island and the nearby islands: Patong, Kata, Karon, Rawai, Nai Harn, Bang Tao, Layan, Nai Thon, Mai Khao, Phuket Town, Chalong and Thalang, plus Phi Phi, Racha, Coral Island and Phang Nga Bay. Our team works in English, Russian, Thai and Chinese.
Birthday parties in Phuket
Full birthday party planning in Phuket: adult milestone birthdays, kids parties, surprise parties, celebrations at a private pool villa, on the beach, in a seaside restaurant or on a yacht. This gallery shows parties at private villas in Bang Tao, Rawai and Nai Harn, birthdays with a DJ and a dance floor, and kids programmes with entertainers and a photo zone.
What we do: find and book the venue, build the concept and the running order, bring sound, lighting and DJ equipment from our own warehouse, set up decor and a photo zone, book a host and artists, arrange catering, cake and a mobile bar, cover the event with photo and video, and coordinate the whole evening on site. A ready package with sound, lighting and a DJ starts at 10,000 THB for up to 15 guests and 25,000 THB for a villa party up to 30 guests.

Yacht party in Phuket
A private yacht party in Phuket: charter a catamaran or motor yacht with a professional DJ, marine-grade sound and party lighting on board. Departure from Chalong Pier, a route to Coral Island with a swimming and snorkelling stop, and sunset at Promthep Cape. The format works for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, gender reveals, anniversaries and small corporate days.
We bring a compact battery-powered rig built for salt air and movement: speakers, lighting, DJ gear and microphones. The DJ plays the whole cruise and the playlist is built around your group — European, Russian, Thai or Chinese repertoire. Optional extras: a bartender, a photographer, drone video, and a live saxophone, violin or vocalist right on deck.

Villa party in Phuket
A pool villa party is the most common format on Phuket: private grounds, your own bar, a dance floor by the water and no dress-code restrictions. This gallery covers New Year parties, themed nights, White Party and neon parties, and private birthdays at villas across the island.
We handle the entire technical side: speakers matched to an open-air setup, lighting and a hazer, a DJ booth and mixer, plus a generator or voltage stabiliser when the villa cannot carry the load. An engineer stays on site all evening. We check two things in advance, because they are what usually ruins a villa party: whether outdoor music is allowed after 22:00 and whether the house supply can handle the rig.

Public events, festivals and openings
Restaurant and hotel openings, festivals, markets, product launches and city events. This needs a different scale of production: a line array for a large site, a stage, an LED screen, truss lighting, wireless microphones for speakers and hosts, and a generator for independent power. We build the sound and light around the site, install the stage and screens, and keep a technical crew on hand for the whole day and for artist rehearsals.

Romantic dinner in Phuket
A private romantic dinner on the beach, at a villa, on a yacht or at a private sunset location: table setting, candles and torches, flowers, decorative lighting, a live saxophone or violin, and a photographer. The format suits a marriage proposal, a wedding anniversary, a birthday for two or a honeymoon.
What is included: location scouting, table and area decor, candles in vases at 700 THB each, torches at 700 THB each, decorative lighting, live music, catering and drinks, and photography. A bento cake with a message starts at 3,500 THB and a photographer is 5,000 THB per hour.

Corporate events, conferences and MICE
Corporate events in Phuket: team building, conferences, gala dinners, product launches, year-end parties and incentive programmes. We operate as a Thai company, Double D Project Co., Ltd., so you get a contract, an invoice and proper closing documents for your legal entity.
Conference side: speakers matched to the room, Shure wireless microphones, a Soundcraft or Behringer console, a projector with a 100-inch screen at 5,000 THB, a 4 × 2.5 m LED screen at 45,000 THB, a 55-inch TV at 4,000 THB, a 3.6 × 6 × 0.7 m stage at 20,000 THB, and simultaneous interpretation equipment at 35,000 THB. Evening side: lighting, a DJ, live music, a show programme, catering and a bar. The CORPORATE Ultra package for groups over 30 people is 39,000 THB.

Weddings in Phuket
A wedding ceremony on the beach, at a pool villa, in a seaside restaurant, on a rooftop, on a private island or on a yacht. Full cycle: venue sourcing and booking; ceremony decor — arch, aisle, table and banquet styling, flowers and candles; sound and lighting for both the ceremony and the party; DJ, live music, host and show programme; photo and video including drone footage; catering, bar, wedding cake, guest transfers and an on-site coordinator for the whole day.

Sound equipment: brands, models and prices
The equipment is ours, stored in our own warehouse on Phuket. That means the rig is matched to the venue and the guest count rather than to whatever happens to be free on your date. If you are bringing your own DJ, send us the rider and we will build a setup they will recognise immediately.

Lighting and special effects
Lighting is calculated for the site: how many fixtures the dance floor needs, what lights the villa facade or the ceremony arch, where the beams come from and whether haze is needed to make those beams visible. On yachts and in hotels we check what is allowed in advance — no open flame on board, and haze indoors is cleared with the venue beforehand.
Fixtures: Par LED and Corsa for wash and beams, an Antari hazer, DJ Power smoke machines and Atomic effects, cold spark fountains, CO2 cryo jets, a bubble machine, a Grand MA console, truss and lighting stands.

We build the menu around the format: a standing reception with canapés and light bites, a seated banquet, a poolside barbecue, Thai or European cuisine, a kids menu, vegetarian and halal options. We work with proven Phuket catering kitchens and take on logistics, service, tableware, linen and staff.

The minimum order for event planning is 15,000 THB. Delivery and setup are quoted separately and are not included in the packages: from 2,000 THB by car and from 5,000 THB by truck, depending on the venue and the size of the rig. How much does it cost to organise an event in Phuket?
A ready package with sound, lighting and a DJ starts at 10,000 THB for up to 15 guests and 25,000 THB for a villa party up to 30 guests. The minimum order for event planning is 15,000 THB. Catering is quoted separately, from 2,000 THB per guest. We build an exact quote around your date, venue and guest count.
Do you own your equipment or rent it in?
We own it, and it is stored in our own warehouse on Phuket. That is why the rig is matched to the venue and the guest count, and why a technician arrives with the equipment and stays on site through the event. The equipment can also be rented on its own, without event planning.

What is included in catering and the mobile bar?
Catering from 2,000 THB per guest covers hot dishes, salads, starters, canapés and desserts with service, tableware and staff. The mobile bar includes the bar counter, ice, glassware and a bartender at 2,000 THB per hour; alcohol sourcing starts at 3,500 THB and free flow at 2,000 THB per guest.
Can I book only a DJ or only sound?
Yes. A DJ is 3,500 THB per hour with a two-hour minimum, a PA set for the venue — JBL EON 615 speakers with stands and a JBL PRX 715 XLF subwoofer — is 12,000 THB and lighting 1,000 THB per fixture. Delivery and setup are quoted separately.
What if the villa does not have enough power?
We calculate the load in advance and bring a voltage stabiliser at 5,000 THB or a 6 kW generator at 10,000 THB. This is a common situation at Phuket villas and we build it into the specification before the quote is signed.
How far in advance should I book?
In low season a week is usually enough. In high season, from November to April, good villas, yachts and seaside restaurants are booked months ahead, and artists apply a surcharge for dates between 28 December and 3 January.
