How a New Year night in Phuket runs
The whole evening is built around one point — midnight. Before it there is dinner and softer music; then the countdown, sparklers or fireworks, champagne, and the switch into the dance part until morning. We write the timing in advance and sync light, sound and effects with the countdown, so the walk out to the fireworks lands exactly on twelve.
December is high season: villas, yachts and restaurants with sea views are booked weeks ahead, and the good artists have their New Year dates fixed by early December. Two to three weeks is the comfortable notice for a private party; a corporate New Year for 100+ guests needs a month.
Where to celebrate
- A villa with a pool — the most private format: your own bar, dance floor by the water, no closing time. Hire from 10,000 ฿ a day for a small villa and from 50,000 ฿ a night for a large sea-view estate that sleeps your guests.
- A restaurant or rooftop — a seated gala dinner with a show, then the dance part; the venue's kitchen and bar, our stage, light and sound. That is how we produced New Year 2023 at The View: a seated dinner, show acts and fireworks at the countdown.
- A yacht — a sunset departure on 31 December, dinner on board and the countdown at anchor with the island's fireworks in view. Charter from 25,000 ฿; DJ, sound and bar on top.
- A hotel ballroom or beach club — for corporate New Year parties of 100 to 300 guests with a stage, LED screen and full production.
Fireworks, cold fountains and effects
Full fireworks need a permit from the local administration and, when launched from the sea, a boat — we arrange both and fire from a safe zone, synced with light and music. Where pyrotechnics are not allowed (most villas and hotels), the countdown gets cold fountains, CO2 cannons, confetti and low smoke: the same picture at midnight, no fire risk.

Corporate New Year parties
A company New Year in Phuket is a programme, not a dinner: arrival drinks, a host who works in English, Russian and Thai, an awards segment with a screen or projector, a show, the countdown and the dance floor. We deliver it under a contract with a Thai company and issue an invoice, which for corporate clients matters as much as the show. Formats we have run: 50 to 300 guests at a hotel, a beach club or a large villa.

When should we book a New Year party in Phuket?
Two to three weeks ahead for a private party at a villa or restaurant; a month for a corporate New Year of 100 guests or more, and earlier if you want a specific yacht or a sea-view venue — December is the busiest month of the year.
Can we have fireworks at a villa?
Real fireworks need a permit and a safe launch zone, so at most villas we use cold fountains, CO2 cannons and confetti for the countdown instead; where a beach or a sea launch is possible, we arrange the licensed display and the boat.
How much does a New Year party cost?
A villa party for 20 guests with a DJ package, sound and light, catering and cold fountains starts around 80,000–100,000 ฿ excluding the villa; a corporate New Year for 100 guests with a DJ package, host, show and dinner runs from 320,000 ฿ excluding the venue (hotel halls from 100,000 ฿). The estimate below and the price list above use the same figures.
Do you organise New Year for companies?
Yes — with a host, an awards segment, a show programme and a contract and invoice from our Thai company. We have produced corporate New Year nights for 50 to 300 guests.
What about the weather on 31 December?
December is dry season in Phuket: about 30 °C in the day, cool evenings, almost no rain. Outdoor formats — a pool deck, a beach, a yacht — are safe to plan; we still keep a covered fallback for the dinner.
