An exhibition is an event where the equipment has to be invisible. The light works for the works, not for the venue; the sound holds a background level at which people can talk; the wayfinding leads the guest along the route without a sign at every step. We built the opening by exactly these rules.

Exhibition lighting is a task of its own: the artist needs the colour on the wall to match the colour on the canvas, the visitor needs the glass not to glare. We choose fixtures with the right colour temperature and set the angles for every work.

The same approach works for a collection presentation, a show, a corporate opening and the launch of a gallery or a showroom.

What we took on

The layout of the exhibition and the guests' route through the venue
Exhibition light: fixtures, colour temperature, angles
Background sound, microphones for the speakers and the opening
Live music and a host, the timing of the official part
A reception, a bar and service staff
Photo and video of the opening for the press and social media

Equipment hire and the reception

An opening needs light with true colour rendering and background sound that does not get in the way of conversation. The event equipment is our own: exhibition lighting fixtures, a JBL sound system, compact speakers, radio microphones for the speakers, a mixing desk, a projector and a screen, an LED screen and a generator. Sound and lighting equipment hire in Phuket is available as a separate service as well.

The reception, catering and a mobile bar: canapés, sparkling wine, signature cocktails, bartenders and waiters, branded tableware. The decorations and styling — flowers, plinths, a press wall and wayfinding — are made so as not to argue with the works.

The same set suits shows, collection presentations and the opening of a gallery or a showroom.
