Sound equipment: catalogue and rental prices by item

Our own equipment, our own technicians, our own warehouse in Thalang — since 2013. JBL, Turbosound, Martin Audio and Electro-Voice speakers, Soundcraft and Behringer mixers, Shure microphones, Pioneer and Allen & Heath DJ gear. We deliver, set up, tune to the venue and stay for the event.

Sound equipment rental in Phuket is most often needed not on its own but together with a DJ. We put together four builds on JBL EON 615 speakers and JBL PRX 715 XLF subwoofers — equipment, delivery, setup, sound check, a technician for the whole evening and our DJ. Prices are per event, not per day.

A DJ is included in every build; their fee depends on the format and the number of hours, so we quote it separately. We work all over the island — Patong, Kata, Karon, Rawai, Nai Harn, Bang Tao, Layan, Kamala, Surin, Cape Yamu, Thalang. Builds start at 15,000 ฿: we put together smaller ones than these four too — these are simply the most popular.

Sound is the one item whose absence every guest notices at once. We rent out sound equipment for events in Phuket from our own warehouse with our own technicians: the set is chosen for the venue and the number of guests, delivered, tuned and looked after on site.

An open beach, a villa with neighbours, a banquet hall with an echo and a conference hall with columns all need different sound. A beach swallows the low end and needs power in reserve. At a villa, volume control and directivity matter more than watts. In a hall with hard surfaces, intelligibility is solved by placement, not volume. We ask about the venue before we name a set.

Delivery and carrying up to the venue, placement and setup are quoted separately — from 2,000 ฿ by car and from 5,000 ฿ by truck; the amount depends on the area and on what has to be carried in. The rental price includes cabling, a sound check before the guests arrive, a technician at the desk for the whole event and the de-rig afterwards. We cover cable runs with ducts — most hotels and villas require it, and without it the venue may not let us in.

Tell us the date, the venue, the number of guests and the format — background music at dinner, a live band, a DJ until midnight or a conference with talks. We come back with a specification and a fixed quote. If the venue has a volume or time limit, we take it into account in advance, not at one in the morning.
