An oriental fairy tale is a rewarding format for a birthday: a warm palette, rugs, cushions, hookahs, brass and candles look lavish even on a modest budget, and nobody has to explain the dress code to the guests. We put this party together at a private villa in Phuket.

The key to this styling is texture and light. Fabrics, rugs and low furniture build volume, a warm wash and candles give depth, and oriental show acts and live drums set the rhythm of the evening. We bring our own furniture and decor, so the villa is not rebuilt for the event.

The format works well for 20–80 guests: an anniversary, a birthday, a themed dinner or a private party.

What we took on

Choosing the villa and laying out the zones: dinner, lounge, dance floor
Oriental decor: fabrics, rugs, low furniture, brass, candles
Light and sound, a DJ and live drums
The show: oriental dances, a fire show, a host
Catering, a bar and a hookah lounge
Photo and video, a photo zone in the style of the evening

Decor, furniture and equipment hire

The oriental format is built on objects, so we bring our own decorations and furniture: rugs, low tables, cushions, brass, candles, fabrics and a photo zone. The event equipment is our own too: a JBL sound system, speakers and subwoofers, radio microphones, a mixing desk, Pioneer DJ equipment and warm light. Sound and lighting equipment hire in Phuket is available as a separate service as well.

Catering and a mobile bar in an oriental key: meze, a hookah lounge, signature cocktails on dates and spices, bartenders and waiters. The furniture and the decor can be hired separately — delivered to the villa and assembled on site.

The format carries easily to a wedding, an anniversary or a themed dinner in a restaurant.
