A projector or an LED screen
A projector is cheaper and enough where the room can be darkened or the sun can be waited out: a conference room, a villa in the evening, a film on the lawn. An LED screen is needed where the picture must stay readable in daylight or on a brightly lit stage — it is brighter and does not fear glare. If in doubt, describe the venue and the time of day: we will say what is enough rather than sell the dearer option.

What most often goes wrong
Adapters. A speaker's laptop with USB-C, a presentation in the cloud with no internet at the venue, fonts that shifted in someone else's Keynote. We ask for the files in advance, carry a set of adapters for every common port and run every presentation at the venue before the start. It is the dull part of the job, and it decides whether there is a fifteen-minute pause before the first talk.
How we work
Send the date, the venue, the time of day and what is being shown. We come back with a specification and a fixed quote. For conferences we allow time to run through every speaker's presentation.
