The route of the ceremony
Departure from Chalong Pier
Boarding at the pier, champagne as you cast off. Chalong is convenient because it is forty minutes from anywhere on the island and sheltered from the swell — the guests are not seasick before the ceremony has begun.
Coral Island
A stop for swimming and snorkelling, water toys in the water. Usually this comes before the ceremony: the guests settle in, and the photographer shoots a report rather than a staged scene.
The ceremony at sunset off Promthep
The main event of the day. The yacht turns so the sun sets behind the couple, and the vessel is set to the swell so the deck does not roll during the vows. This is the shot people choose a yacht for.
The return
Dinner and dancing on the way back. On the Y5 the deck allows a proper dance floor; on the Y1 it is more of a cosy evening for 10.
What is not allowed on a yacht — decide it in advance
- Open fire and pyrotechnics are banned. No candles, no fire show, no fireworks. Cold fountains and CO₂ are usually allowed, but the particular owner decides, and we confirm it in writing before the booking
- Heavy decor cannot be set. Tall arches and large florals are dangerous under way. We work with light fabrics, fresh flowers in fixed bases and styling along the rail
- Catering is limited by the galley. A full hot banquet for 25 is not done on a yacht — it is a standing reception, canapés and dishes prepared in advance
- Guests with limited mobility find it hard. Boarding by gangway from the pier is not always easy in a swell
- The weather decides. From May to October a trip can be cancelled on the morning of the ceremony. We hold a reserve date and a shore option

How many guests fit on the yacht?
The Y1 is comfortable for up to 10 people, 35 at most. The Y5 up to 25, 50 at most. In practice twenty guests on the Y5 feels intimate and cosy, forty is already tight, especially during the ceremony.
Can there be fireworks or a fire show on the yacht?
No. Open fire and pyrotechnics on board are banned. Cold fountains and CO₂ are usually allowed, but the particular owner decides, and we get the confirmation in writing before the booking.
Where does the yacht leave from and how long is the programme?
From Chalong Pier. The Y1 — 14:00 to 18:30 with lunch on board, the Y5 — 14:00 to 19:00 with fruit and drinks. A full day from 10:00 to 18:00 adds 15,000 ฿ on the Y1 and 20,000 ฿ on the Y5.
What if there is a storm?

Will it roll during the ceremony?
At sunset off Promthep it is usually calm, and the vessel is set to the swell deliberately for the vows. Guests prone to seasickness should take tablets an hour before departure — we remind them in the programme of the day.
Can there be a full banquet on board?
A hot banquet for 25 is not done on a yacht — the galley does not allow it. The format is a standing reception, canapés and dishes prepared in advance. A full dinner is usually moved ashore after the return.
