Event Venues in Phuket
Double D Project finds and books venues on Phuket for private and corporate events — villas, beaches, restaurants, rooftops, islands and yachts — and then produces the event in them. We have worked on the island since 2013 as Double D Project Co., Ltd. Venue hire starts at 10,000 THB. Minimum order 15,000 THB.
“Events allowed” on a listing means almost nothing
Most villa listings on Phuket say events are welcome. What they do not say is the event fee on top of the nightly rate, the hour outdoor music has to stop, whether guests who are not staying may come at all, and what volume the neighbours have already complained about. Those four answers decide whether your evening happens as planned, and we get them in writing from the owner before you pay a deposit — not after.
Venue types and what they cost
Villa
From 15,000 THB. The format with the most control: your music, your hours, your guest list, nobody else on site. The constraints are electrical and social — the board may not carry a full lighting rig, and neighbours are close. We survey both before quoting.
Beach and sea-view rooftop
From 10,000 THB. Sunset-timed, open to the sky, and with nothing behind it: no power, no shelter. A 6 kW generator with fuel is 10,000 THB and a covered fallback is agreed in advance for the May–October season.
Restaurant and beach at a restaurant
From 25,000 THB, or from 15,000 THB for a seaside restaurant. Suits 15–40 guests when nobody wants to think about catering, service or washing up.
Private island
From 30,000 THB. The format for a milestone — everything including power arrives by boat with us, which is why an island day is planned weeks rather than days ahead.
City rooftop and airfield
From 35,000 THB. Rooftops for cocktail formats with a skyline; the airfield for launches and shoots that need space and an unusual backdrop.
Yacht
From 69,000 THB as a venue, or Y1 from 45,000 THB for up to 10 guests and Y5 from 56,000 THB for up to 25, departing Chalong or Rawai pier. The pier slot is fixed first and the day is built backwards from it.
Venues by guest count
Two guests — a romantic dinner
A beach setup or a villa terrace with candles and torches at 700 THB, a photographer at 5,000 THB per hour and a bento cake at 3,500 THB. The venue matters less here than the timing of the sunset.
Up to 10 guests
A villa, a seaside restaurant or Y1 yacht. A portable PA and a DJ controller are enough: a kit for this size is 15,000 THB including delivery.
12 to 30 guests
A villa with a pool terrace or a restaurant taken whole. This is where a subwoofer, UV wash and haze start to matter — a kit for 80 guests is 33,500 THB and covers this comfortably.
40 to 150 guests
A beach, a large estate or a resort lawn. Power becomes the deciding factor: a generator and a lighting console are no longer optional. A 150-guest technical kit is 85,500 THB.
150 guests and above
Resort ballrooms and beachfronts in Bang Tao and Laguna, where the island’s large-capacity venues are. Stage 20,000 THB, LED wall 45,000 THB, and a full 300-guest kit with staging at 150,500 THB.

Minimum order 15,000 THB. Venue hire is what the owner charges; our work is finding the right one, getting the conditions in writing and producing the event inside it. We publish both because a client comparing options should not have to send three emails to find out who is in budget.
What we confirm in writing before you book
- Event fee — the surcharge on top of the nightly or daily rate, which is often the largest hidden line
- Music curfew — the hour outdoor sound must stop, and whether it moves indoors afterwards
- Outside guests — whether people who are not staying may attend, and how many
- Volume — the level the venue and its neighbours actually accept, not the level on the brochure
- Power — what the board carries, and therefore whether you need a generator
- Access — whether a truck can reach the site, which decides delivery cost and crew time

- Can you find a fully equipped venue for a product launch?
- Yes. For a launch the venue matters less than what can be rigged in it: stage 20,000 THB, a 4 × 2.5 m outdoor LED wall 45,000 THB, cold fountains 5,000 THB per machine, all run from one console. We survey the power board before quoting, because a launch rig plus an LED wall is beyond what many Phuket venues carry.
- Do you have venues for incentive groups?
- Yes — resort lawns and ballrooms in Bang Tao and Laguna for the large formats, islands and yachts for the reward days, villas for closing dinners. A full MICE brief with a worked one-day budget is on the corporate events page.
- Can we hold a private event on a beach?
- Yes, and it is a common format. A beach has no power and no shelter, so a 6 kW generator with fuel at 10,000 THB and a covered fallback are part of the plan rather than an afterthought, especially between May and October.
- Do you only work with venues you have a deal with?
- No. We source against your brief and confirm conditions with whoever owns the site. If you have already chosen a venue, we produce the event there and coordinate with its management on load-in, power and curfew.
- How far in advance should we book a venue?
- Four to six months in high season, November to April, and longer for a group of 100 or more. Venues, yachts and catering run out well before equipment and crew do.
- What languages does your team work in?
- Russian, English and Thai. Double D Project Co., Ltd. is a registered Thai company operating on Phuket since 2013, so a contract and an invoice are part of the deal.

Each part of the island brings its own venues and its own rules: Patong for beach clubs and late programmes, Kamala for hillside villas and quieter evenings, Bang Tao and Laguna for resorts and large numbers, Rawai and Nai Harn for yacht days and seafood dinners.
