Villa parties above the bay
Kamala’s hillside villas are the district’s signature venue: a pool terrace, a sea view and thirty people rather than three hundred. Villa hire from 15,000 THB, catering 2,500 THB per guest, free flow bar 2,000 THB per guest, bartender 2,000 THB per hour, DJ from 3,500 THB per hour, sound and light set 3,500 THB.
Weddings and ceremonies
The bay faces west, so the ceremony is built around the sunset and everything after it is lit by us rather than by the sky. Beach or sea-view rooftop hire from 10,000 THB, decor 2,500 THB per element, photo zone 10,000 THB, candles and torches 700 THB, photographer 5,000 THB per hour, videographer with drone 30,000 THB. Beach club evenings
Kamala has the quieter end of the island’s beach club scene — sunset sets rather than club nights. We bring the DJ, the booth, the rig and the operator, and work alongside the venue’s own team on load-in and sound levels.
Family celebrations and anniversaries
Children’s parties, gender reveals, birthdays and anniversaries at a villa or a seaside restaurant. Show programmes from 10,000 THB, live musicians 18,000 THB, host 20,000 THB for 3–5 hours, bento cake 3,500 THB.
Small corporate retreats

What Kamala specifically demands
- Access, not distance. Many Kamala villas sit on steep, narrow hillside driveways where a full-size truck cannot turn. We check access before quoting and split the delivery into smaller vehicles when it is needed — that is a planning decision, not an on-the-day discovery
- Neighbours are close. This is a residential bay, not a nightlife strip. Programmes here are built to finish earlier and run quieter than a Patong evening, with the venue’s own rules agreed in writing before we quote
- Power. A villa board will often carry the party but not the party plus an LED wall. We survey first; a 6 kW generator with fuel is 10,000 THB if the survey says you need one
- Weather. Between May and October every outdoor programme gets a covered fallback and a decision point agreed with you a few hours before guests arrive
- Delivery is 2,000 THB by car and 5,000 THB by truck from our base in Thalang — Kamala is a short run, which is why same-week bookings are more often possible here than in the south of the island

Frequently asked questions about events in Kamala
- How much does a villa party in Kamala cost?
- A villa evening for 25 guests with catering, a free flow bar, a DJ and a sound and light set comes to roughly 130,000 THB: villa 15,000, catering 25 × 2,500, bar 25 × 2,000, DJ 3,500 for two hours plus the set. Add decor, a host or a show and it rises from there. The minimum order is 15,000 THB.
- Can you get equipment up to a hillside villa?
- Usually yes, but it decides the plan. We check the driveway, the turning circle and the last stretch before quoting, and where a truck cannot reach we split the load across smaller vehicles and add crew time. The point is that this is priced in advance rather than discovered on the day.
- How late can music run in Kamala?
- Kamala is residential, so programmes here are normally built to wind down earlier than in Patong, and the villa or venue sets its own limit. We agree it in writing with the owner before quoting so the timeline you approve is the timeline that is allowed.
- Can you do a wedding on Kamala beach?
- Yes. The bay faces west, so ceremonies are timed to the sunset and the reception is lit by our own rig afterwards. Beach hire starts at 10,000 THB; the full breakdown by format is on the wedding page.
- How far in advance should we book?
- Four to six months for a villa or a venue in high season, November to April. Equipment and crew we can usually cover at two to four weeks’ notice — it is villas, catering and photographers that run out first.
- Do you work in Russian and English?
- Yes — coordination, hosting and the technical crew work in Russian, English and Thai. Double D Project Co., Ltd. is a registered Thai company, so a contract and an invoice are part of the deal.
