Double D Project rents sound, lighting, DJ gear, LED screens, staging, generators and special effects across Phuket. The inventory is ours rather than subcontracted, a technician on site is included in the price, and delivery and setup are quoted separately. Minimum order 15,000 THB. These are our real published rates, not ranges. No rental company on Phuket publishes a full price list — we do, because a client comparing three suppliers should not have to send three emails to find out who is in budget.
What to know before you book
- The inventory is ours. We do not sub-rent it, so a date is confirmed immediately rather than after a call to a third party
- A technician on site is included. The kit does not arrive in boxes — it is rigged, tuned to the room and run for the whole evening
- Power is surveyed in advance. Most failures on Phuket are electrical: a villa board that will not carry a full lighting rig. A 6 kW generator with fuel is 10,000 THB, and we tell you whether you need one before you pay for it
- Delivery and setup are quoted separately — 2,000 THB by car, 5,000 THB by truck
- Contract and invoice. Double D Project Co., Ltd. is a registered Thai company
Frequently asked questions about equipment rental in Phuket
- How much does it cost to rent sound and lighting in Phuket?
- A kit for 30 guests is 15,000 THB including delivery, for 80 guests 33,500 THB, for 150 guests with a generator 85,500 THB, and for 300 guests with a stage and LED wall 150,500 THB. Individually: JBL PRX 715 speakers 8,000 THB, a Pioneer XDJ-RX3 4,000 THB, a sound and light set 3,500 THB. The minimum order is 15,000 THB.
- Can we rent only the equipment, without event organisation?
- Yes, it is a separate service. We deliver, rig, run the technical side and strike. Event production is booked separately and is never bundled into a rental.
- Is a technician included in the rental price?
- Yes. A technician on site is included — they assemble the kit, tune the sound to the room and run the evening. Only delivery and setup are charged separately: 2,000 THB by car, 5,000 THB by truck.
- What if the villa does not have enough power?
- We survey the board before quoting. A typical Phuket villa carries a party but not a party plus a full lighting rig, and the honest answer is then a 6 kW generator with fuel at 10,000 THB. You find out in advance, not on the night.
- How far in advance should we book equipment?
- Two to four weeks is comfortable. In high season, November to April, popular dates go earlier, and what runs out first is not the gear but free technicians and truck transport.
- Do you deliver across the whole island?
- Yes — Patong, Kamala, Bang Tao and Laguna, Rawai and Nai Harn, Kata, Karon, Phuket Town and Mai Khao. We also travel to Koh Samui, Koh Phangan and Phang Nga, where delivery is quoted separately.
- Do you issue contracts and invoices?
- Yes. Double D Project Co., Ltd. is a Thai company registered on Phuket since 2013, and we work on a contract with an invoice, which is what corporate procurement normally requires.
