Event Agency in Bang Tao and Laguna, Phuket

Double D Project produces events in Bang Tao and the Laguna resort complex — resort banquets and conferences, large villa parties, beach club evenings, weddings and gala dinners. We have worked on Phuket since 2013 as Double D Project Co., Ltd., own our sound, lighting, staging, LED and effects, and run them with our own technicians. Prices are published below. Minimum order 15,000 THB.

What we run in Bang Tao and Laguna

Conferences and corporate programmes

Bang Tao holds the island’s densest cluster of five-star resorts, which is why most Phuket MICE programmes end up here. Stage 20,000 THB, LED screen 4 × 2.5 m 45,000 THB, sound and light set 3,500 THB, simultaneous interpretation system 35,000 THB, generator 6 kW 10,000 THB. A worked one-day budget for 60 delegates and five ready packages are on the corporate events and MICE page and the packages page.

Gala dinners and award ceremonies

Ballroom or beachfront, stage and lectern, front lighting so faces read on camera, host 20,000 THB for 3–5 hours, live musicians 18,000 THB, DJ from 3,500 THB per hour, catering 2,500 THB per guest, free flow bar 2,000 THB per guest, cold fireworks 5,000 THB per machine.

Large villa parties

The estates behind Bang Tao beach take bigger numbers than a Kamala hillside villa and have the driveways to match. Villa hire from 15,000 THB, decor 2,500 THB per element, photo zone 10,000 THB, show programmes from 10,000 THB, low fog 10,000 THB, LED DJ booth 10,000 THB.

Weddings and receptions

Resort lawns, beachfront and private estates, with the ceremony timed to the sunset and the reception lit by our own rig. Beach or sea-view rooftop hire from 10,000 THB, photographer 5,000 THB per hour, videographer with drone 30,000 THB. Formats and full budgets are on the wedding page.

Beach club evenings

Sunset sets, brand nights and private takeovers along the Bang Tao strip. We bring the DJ, the booth, the rig and the operator, and coordinate with the venue’s own team on load-in, power and sound levels.

What Bang Tao and Laguna specifically demand

  • Resort access is a process, not a gate. Laguna and the large resorts run vehicle passes, service entrances and fixed load-in windows. We file the crew and vehicle list in advance; a truck that turns up unlisted does not get in, whatever is written on the schedule
  • Long internal roads. The distance from the service entrance to the actual lawn is often several hundred metres, which is crew time and trolley runs — priced into the quote rather than added afterwards
  • Resort technical rules. Some venues require their own supplier or their own power tie-in. We produce the event either way and coordinate with whoever the venue nominates
  • Power. Ballroom boards usually carry a conference rig; a lawn or a beachfront usually does not. We survey before quoting, and a 6 kW generator with fuel is 10,000 THB where the survey says one is needed
  • Delivery is 2,000 THB by car and 5,000 THB by truck. Bang Tao is the shortest run from our base in Thalang, which makes late changes and same-week additions more workable here than anywhere else on the island

Frequently asked questions about events in Bang Tao

How much does a corporate event in Bang Tao cost?
A one-day conference for 60 delegates with a restaurant venue, stage, LED wall, interpretation system, catering, a photographer, crew and truck delivery comes to about 345,500 THB. Without the interpretation system and the LED wall the same day is 265,500 THB. The full line-by-line budget is on the corporate events page.
Can you work inside Laguna and the five-star resorts?
Yes. It requires vehicle passes, a named crew list and a booked load-in window, all filed in advance with the resort. Where a venue nominates its own technical supplier we still produce the event and work alongside them.
Do you provide simultaneous interpretation?
The complete system is 35,000 THB: soundproof interpreter booth, transmitters and audience receivers with headsets, tied into the room’s PA. Interpreters themselves are booked separately once the language pairs are confirmed — Russian, English, Thai and Chinese are the usual combinations here.
Can you handle 150 guests or more?
Yes. Bang Tao is where the island’s large-capacity venues are, and our own inventory covers sound, lighting, staging, LED and effects at that scale without subcontracting the technical half to anyone else.
How far in advance should we book?
Four to six months for a resort venue in high season, November to April, and longer for a group of 100 or more. Equipment and crew we can usually cover at shorter notice — it is venues, catering and yachts that run out first.
Do you issue contracts and invoices?
Yes. Double D Project Co., Ltd. is a registered Thai company operating on Phuket since 2013, and we work on a contract with an invoice, which is normally what a corporate procurement process requires.

Elsewhere on Phuket

We work across the whole island — Patong, Kamala, Rawai and Nai Harn, Kata and Karon, Phuket Town — and beyond it on Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Phang Nga and in Bangkok. The island-wide overview is on the event agency page, and venue options by format and capacity are on the venues page.
