Double D Project produces events in Rawai and Nai Harn — yacht days and island trips leaving from Chalong and Rawai piers, seafood dinners on the beach, villa parties, birthdays and weddings. Yacht parties and island days
This is the departure end of the island. Y1 from 45,000 THB for up to 10 guests and Y5 from 56,000 THB for up to 25, transfer to the pier 300 THB per person, photographer aboard 20,000 THB, drone video 25,000 THB, an artist aboard 15,000 THB. A yacht as a venue is 69,000 THB and an island 30,000 THB.
Seafood dinners and beach evenings
Rawai’s seafront restaurants are the honest version of a Phuket dinner — you pick the catch and it is cooked while you sit. Seaside restaurant hire from 15,000 THB, beach or sea-view rooftop from 10,000 THB, catering 2,500 THB per guest, free flow bar 2,000 THB per guest, live musicians 18,000 THB.
Villa parties
Villas here sit lower and more spread out than on the west-coast hillsides, which usually means easier access and more room on the terrace. Villa hire from 15,000 THB, DJ from 3,500 THB per hour, sound and light set 3,500 THB, LED DJ booth 10,000 THB, low fog 10,000 THB, decor 2,500 THB per element.
Weddings and proposals
Nai Harn and the small bays around it are where couples go when they want a beach without a crowd behind it. Birthdays and family celebrations
Children’s parties, gender reveals and anniversaries at a villa, a beach or a restaurant. Show programmes from 10,000 THB, host 20,000 THB for 3–5 hours, event staff 1,000 THB per person per hour.
What Rawai and Nai Harn specifically demand
- The sea sets the clock. A yacht day is planned around the tide and the pier slot, not around when guests feel like leaving. We fix the departure time first and build the rest of the day backwards from it
- Distance from our base. Rawai is the longest run on the island from Thalang, so the build starts earlier here and same-day additions are harder. Delivery is 2,000 THB by car and 5,000 THB by truck
- Beach venues have no power. A stretch of sand is a venue with nothing behind it — a 6 kW generator with fuel is 10,000 THB and, on most beach programmes here, is not optional
- Salt and wind. Everything that goes on a beach or a deck comes back needing cleaning, and gear that is not rated for it fails. That is the practical argument for our own inventory rather than a rental chain’s
- Weather. Between May and October the swell on this coast decides whether a yacht day happens at all. Every programme gets a covered fallback and a decision point agreed with you in advance

- Which pier do you leave from?
- Chalong and Rawai piers, depending on the boat and the route. The departure slot is fixed first and the rest of the day is planned backwards from it, because the tide and the pier schedule are the two things nobody can move.
- Can you run a party on a beach with no power?
- Yes, and it is the normal case here. A 6 kW generator with fuel is 10,000 THB and covers sound, lighting and effects for a beach programme. We survey the site before quoting so you know whether one generator is enough before you pay for anything.
- What happens if the sea is rough?
- Between May and October the swell on this coast can cancel a yacht day, so every programme is built with a land alternative identified in advance and a decision point agreed with you, normally the evening before. Nobody finds out at the pier.
- How far in advance should we book?
- Yachts are the first thing to run out in high season, November to April — four to six months for a specific boat on a specific date. Equipment, crew and beach venues we can usually cover at two to four weeks’ notice.
- Do you work in Russian and English?
- Yes — coordination, hosting and the technical crew work in Russian, English and Thai. Double D Project Co., Ltd. is a registered Thai company, so a contract and an invoice are part of the deal.
