These are clips from real events produced by the Double D Project team on Phuket since 2013. Nothing staged: what you see on screen is our sound, our lighting, our effects, our decor and our artists. The videos are grouped by format, and below each section explains what we actually do, what equipment is working in the frame and what it costs.

We shoot in house: a videographer with drone footage is 30,000 THB and a photographer is 5,000 THB per hour. You get an edited film, not a folder of raw files. We work across the whole island and the nearby islands: Patong, Kata, Karon, Rawai, Nai Harn, Bang Tao, Layan, Nai Thon, Mai Khao, Phuket Town, Chalong and Thalang, plus Phi Phi, Racha, Coral Island and Phang Nga Bay. Our team works in English, Russian, Thai and Chinese.

Birthday Party videos

Full birthday party planning in Phuket: adult milestone birthdays, kids parties, surprise parties, celebrations at a private pool villa, on the beach or in a seaside restaurant. These clips show how an evening is built: guests arriving, the photo zone, the toasts, the cake, and the moment the lights drop and the dance floor starts.

What is in the frame: speakers and the DJ booth, lighting across the dance floor, a hazer so the beams read on video, cold spark fountains for the cake, light-up numbers and letters, and a styled photo zone. A ready package with sound, lighting and a DJ starts at 10,000 THB for up to 15 guests and 25,000 THB for a villa party up to 30 guests.

Yacht Party videos

A private yacht party in Phuket: charter a catamaran or motor yacht with a professional DJ, marine-grade sound and party lighting on board. Departure from Chalong Pier, a route to Coral Island with a swimming and snorkelling stop, and sunset at Promthep Cape. The clips include drone footage over the yacht under way, the dance floor on the upper deck, sunset shots and jumps into the water.

The format is booked for birthdays, bachelor and bachelorette parties, gender reveals, anniversaries and small corporate days. We bring a compact battery-powered rig built for salt air and movement: speakers, lighting, DJ gear and microphones. The DJ plays the whole cruise and the playlist is built around your group.

Villa Party videos

A pool villa party is the most common format on Phuket: private grounds, your own bar, a dance floor by the water and no dress-code restrictions. These clips cover neon parties, White Party, themed nights and New Year celebrations — facade and pool uplighting, haze over the water, the DJ set up by the pool.

We handle the entire technical side: speakers matched to an open-air setup, lighting and a hazer, a DJ booth and mixer, plus a generator or voltage stabiliser when the villa cannot carry the load. An engineer stays on site all evening. We check two things in advance, because they are what usually ruins a villa party: whether outdoor music is allowed after 22:00 and whether the house supply can handle the rig.

Public Event videos

Restaurant and hotel openings, festivals, markets, product launches and city events. This needs a different scale of production: a line array for a large site, a stage, an LED screen, truss lighting, wireless microphones for speakers and hosts, and a generator for independent power. The clips show the stage in use, the screen running content, lighting across the site and a wide drone shot of the crowd.

Gender Party videos

A gender reveal party on Phuket is a short two to three hour celebration built around a single shot: the moment the colour appears. That is why video matters more than photography here, and why we cover it from two angles plus a drone.

The reveal options you can see in these clips: a box of pink or blue balloons, a cake with coloured filling, a large confetti balloon, smoke cannons and coloured fountains — the most striking option for beach and drone footage — evening fireworks, and a plane with a banner.

MICE and corporate event videos

Corporate events in Phuket: team building, conferences, gala dinners, product launches, year-end parties and incentive programmes. We operate as a Thai company, Double D Project Co., Ltd., so you get a contract, an invoice and proper closing documents for your legal entity.

Conference side: speakers matched to the room, Shure wireless microphones, a Soundcraft or Behringer console, a projector with a 100-inch screen at 5,000 THB, a 4 × 2.5 m LED screen at 45,000 THB, a 55-inch TV at 4,000 THB, a 3.6 × 6 × 0.7 m stage at 20,000 THB, and simultaneous interpretation equipment at 35,000 THB. Evening side: lighting, a DJ, live music, a show programme, catering and a bar. The CORPORATE Ultra package for groups over 30 people is 39,000 THB.

Wedding and Romantic Dinner videos

A wedding ceremony on the beach, at a pool villa, in a seaside restaurant, on a rooftop, on a private island or on a yacht — plus private romantic dinners and marriage proposals. The clips show the bride's entrance, the arch and the aisle, the first dance in low smoke, evening lighting across the grounds and a drone shot over the venue at sunset.

Full cycle: venue sourcing and booking; ceremony decor — arch, aisle, table and banquet styling, flowers and candles; sound and lighting for both the ceremony and the party; DJ, live music, host and show programme; photo and video including drone footage; catering, bar, wedding cake, guest transfers and an on-site coordinator for the whole day.

What is working in the frame: sound, light and effects

The equipment is ours, stored in our own warehouse on Phuket, so the rig is matched to the venue and the guest count rather than to whatever is free on your date. If you are bringing your own DJ, send us the rider and we will build a setup they will recognise on sight.

Sound: Pioneer DJ controllers XDJ-RX3, XDJ-XZ and XDJ-RX2 plus Denon DJ Prime; Pioneer CDJ-2000 NXS2 and CDJ-3000 players; Pioneer DJM-900 and DJM-V10 mixers; JBL speakers — PRX, EON 615, IRX 112, EON 208 and a line array; JBL PRX 715 XLF subwoofers; Martin Audio and Electro-Voice systems; Soundcraft and Behringer consoles; Shure SM58 and SM57 microphones. L-Acoustics and d&b audiotechnik are brought in on request for large sites.

Lighting and effects — the part that actually makes the picture on video: Par LED and Corsa fixtures, an Antari hazer (without it the beams do not read on camera), DJ Power smoke machines and Atomic effects, a low smoke machine for the first dance, cold spark fountains, CO2 cryo jets, a bubble machine, a Grand MA console, truss and lighting stands.

Decor and styling on camera

Decor is priced by element, so you can see exactly what you are paying for. The price includes the design sketch, sourcing, installation on site and strike after the event.

We build the menu around the format: a standing reception with canapés and light bites, a seated banquet, a poolside barbecue, Thai or European cuisine, a kids menu, vegetarian and halal options.

Artists and show programme

The part people rewatch the film for: a live saxophone at sunset, a cover band for the dance set, drummers for the opening, a fire or LED show to close the night.

Ready packages and minimum order

The minimum order for event planning is 15,000 THB. Delivery and setup are quoted separately and are not included in the packages: from 2,000 THB by car and from 5,000 THB by truck. Frequently asked questions

Do you shoot the video yourselves or subcontract it?

We shoot it ourselves. A videographer with drone footage is 30,000 THB and a photographer is 5,000 THB per hour. You receive an edited film rather than a folder of raw files. Filming can also be booked on its own, without event planning.

How much does it cost to organise an event in Phuket?

A ready package with sound, lighting and a DJ starts at 10,000 THB for up to 15 guests and 25,000 THB for a villa party up to 30 guests. The minimum order for event planning is 15,000 THB. Catering is quoted separately, from 2,000 THB per guest.

Is drone filming allowed in Phuket?

Yes, within the rules: we do not fly in the airport zone or over restricted grounds without permission, and on a yacht the flight is cleared with the captain first. On a beach or over a villa it is standard practice — and those wide shots are exactly what make the film worth rewatching.

Is the equipment in the frame yours?

Yes, stored in our own warehouse on Phuket. The rig is matched to the venue and the guest count, a technician arrives with the equipment and stays through the event, and the gear can also be rented on its own.

What if the villa does not have enough power?

We calculate the load in advance and bring a voltage stabiliser at 5,000 THB or a 6 kW generator at 10,000 THB. This is a common situation at Phuket villas and we build it into the specification before the quote is signed.

How far in advance should I book?

In low season a week is usually enough. In high season, from November to April, good villas, yachts and seaside restaurants are booked months ahead, and artists apply a surcharge for dates between 28 December and 3 January.

What languages does your team speak?

English, Russian, Thai and Chinese.
