Artists and show programmes in Phuket
Double D Project has been putting show programmes together on Phuket since 2019: villa weddings, birthdays, corporate events, gender reveals and yacht parties. We work with our own roster of tested performers — musicians, dance and light shows, hosts in English and Russian. We do not just hand over a contact: we build the programme around the format and the venue, agree the timing and make sure the artist arrives when they should.
Artist prices start from 5,000 ฿. The final figure depends on the line-up, the number of sets and the venue — performing on a yacht or on a neighbouring island costs more than a mainland booking, and New Year dates carry a surcharge.

Live music changes an evening more than any decor. A saxophone at sunset by the pool, a violin at the ceremony, a cover band after dinner — those are three different evenings, not one service.

Hosts, DJs and face art
You need a host where there is a programme: a wedding, a corporate event, an anniversary. A party without a ceremony usually runs on a DJ alone. We have hosts working in English, in Russian and in both, plus a mashup format where a DJ and an MC work as a pair.

Fire and light shows
A fire show on the beach after sunset is the single most requested act on Phuket. It is priced by the number of performers: solo, duo, trio or a larger group with pyrotechnics. LED shows win wherever open flame is not allowed — indoors, on a yacht, inside hotel grounds.

Who to book for which occasion
Wedding. A violinist or saxophonist for the ceremony — a live instrument at sunset creates the moment people rewatch on video. A cover band or vocalist over dinner so there is a sound bed rather than silence. A DJ for the evening. A host if there are speeches and games.
Corporate event. A host is essential — they hold the timing and stop the evening drifting. With international guests, Thai dance and a traditional Thai band land well: it is what people came here for. Then a DJ and one or two short shows between programme blocks.
Birthday. A fire show on the beach or by the pool as the centrepiece, go-go dancers for the dance floor, a magician if the guests span several ages. A host is usually unnecessary — a DJ is enough.
Yacht. What works is anything that needs little space and no open flame: saxophonist, go-go, LED shows. Fire is not performed on board. The artist is engaged for longer than usual, because they are tied to the length of the cruise rather than to their two sets.
Live music or a DJ
These are different jobs, not a cheaper-or-pricier choice. A live instrument creates a moment: people listen, they watch, they gather round. But it works in 30-minute sets, and something has to fill the gaps. A DJ holds the whole distance and knows when to lift the room and when to let it breathe. The combination that works best is a DJ across the evening with one or two live appearances on top.
Where our artists perform
We move artists across the whole island: villas in Rawai, Chalong, Kamala, Surin and Bang Tao, hotels in Patong, Karon and Panwa, restaurants and beach venues. Yachts from Chalong and Ao Po piers are a separate category. We also travel to Samui, Phangan and nearby islands — flights or ferries, transfers and accommodation are added to the artist fee.

How much does it cost to book an artist in Phuket?

Can we book a performer for a yacht party?
Yes, we do this regularly. Performing on the water costs more than on shore: the artist is engaged for the whole cruise and transfers to and from the pier are added.
Do you have English-speaking hosts?
Yes. We have hosts working in English, in Russian, and in both languages at once — the last option suits mixed groups and weddings with guests from different countries.
Where can a fire show be performed?
On a beach or in open villa grounds, almost always. Indoors and on a yacht, no. There we offer LED shows instead: visually just as strong, without open flame.
How far in advance should we book performers?
The earlier the better. In high season and over New Year the good artists are taken weeks ahead. Two weeks before the event is the practical minimum.
What is included in the fee?
The performance itself plus the artist’s costumes and props. Sound, light, staging and effects are separate and can be rented from us in the same request.
Do you work on other islands?
Yes, we travel to Samui, Phangan and nearby islands. Flights or ferries, transfers and accommodation are added to the artist fee.
