Lighting rental in Phuket — prices

Light is what separates a party from a room with music in it. We keep our own lighting stock on Phuket, deliver it, rig it, run it through the evening and pack it down. Prices are per event in Thai baht and are indicative — the final quote depends on the venue, the run time and the power available.

Why a hazer matters more than another fixture

Smoke is not decoration. Without haze in the air the beams from your moving heads simply are not visible, and on camera the rig looks like nothing at all. A hazer at 3,500 ฿ does more for the look of an evening than a second set of fixtures. Low smoke is the opposite tool: a heavy cloud that stays at floor level for a first dance or an artist entrance.

What we use lighting for

• Villa parties — wash light on the facade and the pool, effect fixtures over the dance floor, haze for the beams
• Weddings — warm wash on the ceremony area, low smoke for the first dance, cold fireworks for the cake moment
• Corporate events and conferences — stage wash, lectern light, screens and projection handled from additional equipment
• Neon and themed parties — UV light, glowing decor and an LED DJ Booth
• Yacht parties — battery-powered fixtures only, no open flame, no mains dependency

Light in the party packages

If you want the whole evening rather than separate items, lighting is already inside our packages: PICNIC Basic at 10,000 ฿ for up to 15 guests, HOUSE Premium at 25,000 ฿ for a villa party of 10 to 30, CORPORATE Ultra at 39,000 ฿ above 30 guests, and Yacht Basic and Yacht Premium at 20,000 ฿ and 30,000 ฿ on the water. Each package includes sound, light, a DJ and an engineer on site; delivery and setup are quoted separately — from 2,000 ฿ for a car and from 5,000 ฿ for a truck.

Power and venue rules on Phuket

Two things decide what is actually possible at a Phuket venue. Power: many villas cannot carry a full sound and light rig on the house supply, so we calculate the load in advance and bring a stabiliser or a generator. Venue rules: a lot of villa estates ask for outdoor music to stop at 22:00, hotels agree pyrotechnics and flame effects with their events department beforehand, and smoke has to be checked against fire detectors before it is booked. On a yacht there is no open flame at all.

Frequently asked questions

How much does lighting rental cost in Phuket?

A single Par LED or Corsa fixture is 1,000 ฿ per event, a lighting tripod or truss totem 3,000 ฿, a Grand MA console 5,000 ฿ and a hazer 3,500 ฿. A full package with sound, light and a DJ starts at 10,000 ฿ for up to 15 guests.

How many fixtures does a villa party need?

For a villa dance floor four to six fixtures plus a hazer usually do the job. Above 30 guests, when people spread across the grounds, the rig and the power are calculated for the whole venue rather than one corner.

Do you provide an operator?

Yes. Rigging, an engineer on site through the event and the de-rig are included in the price; delivery and setup are quoted separately — from 2,000 ฿ for a car and from 5,000 ฿ for a truck. For programmed shows we run a Grand MA console.

Can I use smoke or fire effects at a hotel?

Only with prior approval. Hotels agree pyrotechnics and flame effects with their events department, and smoke must be checked against fire detectors before booking. On yachts open flame is not allowed at all — CO2, confetti and LED effects work instead.

What if the villa does not have enough power?

We calculate the load before the quote is signed and bring a voltage stabiliser from 5,000 ฿ or a 6 kW petrol generator at 10,000 ฿.
