Studio and Synth Equipment Rental in Phuket

Elektron, Moog, Korg, Arturia, Roland, Ableton and Novation hardware from our own stock, plus studio monitors and mixers. For live electronic sets, artist showcases, rehearsals, content shoots and producers who arrived on Phuket without their rig.

This is a different rental from a wedding PA. Nobody books an Octatrack because they need background music — they book it because they play live hardware sets, or because they are producing on the island for a month and are not going to fly a studio here. We keep the machines that get asked for by name, and we deliver them to villas, studios, venues and beach clubs across Phuket with cabling and a technician who has actually patched them before.

Minimum order 15,000 THB. Prices are per event or per day. Delivery and setup are from 2,000 THB by car. For a week or a month, ask — long-term rates are materially lower than the daily figure multiplied out.

Grooveboxes, samplers and drum machines

The core of any live hardware set. Everything here sequences, so a performer can arrive with project files on a card and play a full set without a laptop.

Elektron Octatrack MK2 rental

The eight-track performance sampler that a large share of live electronic acts are built around. Time-stretching, scenes, crossfader morphing and a sequencer deep enough to run an entire set from one box. Booked with almost every touring live act we host.

Elektron Analog Rytm MK2 rental

Analogue drum machine with sample layering and performance pads. Real analogue voices for kick, snare and hats, with samples layered on top — the reason it sounds like a record rather than a preset.

Elektron Analog Four MK2 rental

Four-voice analogue synthesiser with the Elektron sequencer. Basslines, leads and pads from genuinely analogue circuits, sequenced in the same workflow as the Rytm so the two lock together on stage.

Roland SP-404 MK2 rental

The sampler that defined lo-fi and beat-scene performance. DJs and beatmakers ask for it by name for showcases and content shoots.

Korg Electribe EMX rental

Music production station with tube drive — grooves, sequencing and a distinctive saturated tone. A fast, physical way to build a live set.

Korg Volca Beats rental

Compact analogue drum machine. Cheap enough to add as a texture layer to any setup, and a genuinely fun piece for workshops and open sessions.

Vermona DRM1 MK3 rental

A German analogue drum synthesiser — no samples at all, every sound generated. For producers who want percussion nobody else has.

Synthesisers

Analogue and digital synths for live sets, studio sessions and recording. All supplied with power supplies and the cables to get them into a mixer, which is the part people forget.

Roland TB-03 — bass line synthon request
Roland XV-5080 — rack sound moduleon request

Moog Subsequent 25 rental

A two-note paraphonic Moog with the ladder filter and the low end the brand is famous for. The bass sound that makes a track feel finished. Our most requested synthesiser.

Korg Minilogue rental

Four-voice polyphonic analogue with an oscilloscope display. The practical polysynth — chords, pads and leads, easy to programme, hard to make sound bad.

Arturia MicroFreak rental

A hybrid digital-oscillator, analogue-filter synth with a touch keyboard. Strange, characterful and cheap to add; used on more records than its price suggests.

Korg Volca FM rental

Compact FM synth in the DX7 lineage — bells, electric pianos and metallic textures for very little money.

Roland TB-03 rental

The Roland Boutique recreation of the TB-303 acid line. If a set needs that squelch, nothing else does it.

Roland XV-5080 rental

Rackmount sound module with a very large classic preset library. Booked for cover bands and show programmes that need a lot of standard sounds from one rack unit.

Controllers, mixers and effects

What connects the machines to each other and to the PA. Every rental includes MIDI cables, audio leads and power — not just the box.

Ableton Push 2 rental

The hardware instrument for Ableton Live. For producers running a laptop set who want to play it rather than click it, and for live acts that need clip launching under their hands.

Arturia BeatStep Pro rental

Dual-sequencer and drum sequencer with CV and gate outputs. The piece that makes a pile of separate synths behave as one instrument.

Novation Launchpad rental

Grid controller for clip launching in Ableton. Light, reliable and instantly familiar to anyone who performs with Live.

Novation Launch Control XL rental

Sixteen knobs, faders and buttons mapped to your session — hands-on mixing for a laptop set.

Tascam Model 24 rental

A 24-channel analogue mixer with a built-in multitrack recorder. Mixes the band and records every channel at the same time, which is exactly what a live session or a showcase needs.

Tascam Model 12 rental

The compact twelve-channel version of the same idea, for smaller sessions and podcast or stream setups.

Yamaha MG166 rental

A dependable sixteen-channel analogue mixer for rehearsals, submixing and anything where a digital desk would be more menu than help.

Boss RE-20 Space Echo rental

The tape-delay pedal recreated. Dub delays, feedback swells and the smeared repeats that make a live set breathe.

Studio monitors and recording

Nearfield monitoring for producing, mixing and checking a set before it goes out on a big system.

KRK Rokit 5 — studio monitors, per pair1,800
Genelec — studio monitorson request
Tascam DR-07 XP — field recorder700

Adam A5X rental

Ribbon-tweeter nearfields with a famously detailed top end. The monitor for mixing decisions rather than for enjoying music.

KRK Rokit 5 rental

The workhorse nearfield. Forgiving, familiar, and the reference most producers already know by ear — which is what makes translation predictable.

Genelec rental

Finnish reference monitors for critical listening. Limited stock, so ask early.

Tascam DR-07 XP rental

Field recorder for capturing a set, a rehearsal or room sound. The cheapest thing on this page and the one that most often earns its cost back.

Frequently asked questions about studio equipment rental in Phuket

How much does it cost to rent studio and synth equipment in Phuket?
Elektron Octatrack MK2 is 5,500 THB, Analog Rytm MK2 and Analog Four MK2 are 6,500 THB each, Moog Subsequent 25 is 5,000 THB, Ableton Push 2 is 2,500 THB, Korg Minilogue 1,800 THB and the Volca series 500 THB. Studio monitors are 1,800 to 2,000 THB per pair. Delivery starts at 2,000 THB and the minimum order is 15,000 THB.
Can I rent this gear for a month rather than a day?
Yes, and you should ask for a long-term quote rather than multiplying the daily rate. Producers spending a season on Phuket are a regular booking for us and the monthly figure is a fraction of the daily one.
Do you deliver to villas and studios?
Anywhere on Phuket: Rawai, Nai Harn, Chalong, Kata, Karon, Patong, Kamala, Surin, Bang Tao, Layan, Cherng Talay, Thalang, Phuket Town and Cape Yamu. We bring the cabling, power supplies and stands, and someone who can patch it together with you.
Is a technician included?
A technician sets the equipment up and checks it with you. For a live performance we can also keep an engineer on site for the whole event, which is charged as event staff at 1,000 THB per hour.
Can you supply a full live electronic set-up?
Yes — Octatrack, Analog Rytm, Analog Four and a Moog through our own PA, with a mixer, monitoring and a recorder for the set. Send the artist rider and we will confirm exactly what we cover and what needs sourcing.
Do you rent to visiting producers without a Thai company?
Yes. Individuals rent from us regularly. We ask for a deposit and a passport copy for higher-value items, and we issue Thai company invoices with VAT for anyone who needs one.
What if a machine fails during the event?
We carry spares of the cables and power supplies, which is what actually fails, and we replace a failed unit from stock where we hold more than one. Single specialist items — the Ecler, the Vermona, the Genelecs — are exactly that, single, so tell us early if your set depends on one.
