What a conference actually needs

Conference audio is a different discipline from party sound. Speech has to stay intelligible at the back of the room while the presenter walks around with a lapel mic, questions come from the floor, and nothing can feed back. The failure modes are unglamorous and very visible: a dead battery in the second hour, a laptop that will not talk to the projector, a translator who cannot hear the stage.

So we plan around them. Spare handhelds on the table, fresh batteries at every break, the presentation tested on our media server before the room fills, and a technician who stays at the desk for the whole programme rather than leaving after setup.

Simultaneous interpretation

Phuket business events are rarely single-language. We supply a simultaneous interpretation system with receivers for the audience, so delegates listen in their own language while the speaker carries on uninterrupted. The system starts at 35,000 THB. Tell us the language pairs and the delegate count and we will size the receiver count to the room — and, if you need them, we can help arrange interpreters.

Our own team works in English, Russian, Thai and Chinese, which also means the crew running your event can talk to your speakers directly.

Venues and logistics

We work in hotel conference halls, beach clubs, villa estates and non-standard sites across Phuket, and travel to Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Phang Nga and Bangkok. Because we have worked in most of the island's hotels, we usually know the load-in route, the power situation and the house rules before the survey — which is the difference between a quote you can rely on and one that grows on the day.

Do you provide simultaneous interpretation equipment?

Yes. We supply a simultaneous interpretation system with audience receivers, from 35,000 THB. Tell us the language pairs and how many delegates and we size the receiver count to the room.

How many microphones can you supply?

As many as the programme needs — wireless handhelds and lapel mics from 1,000 THB each, run through a digital console. We always bring spares and change batteries at the breaks rather than mid-session.

Can you handle a conference for 300 people?

Yes. Room size matters more than headcount: an enclosed hall of 300 needs far less system than an open terrace with the same number. Send us the venue and the layout and we will specify it properly.

Will our presentation work with your equipment?

We play from our own media server and test your files before the room fills. Send the presentation in advance and we confirm the format and the fonts work rather than discovering a problem on stage.

Do you stay during the event?

Yes. A technician is at the desk for the whole programme, and dismantles afterwards. Setup-and-leave is not something we offer.

What if the venue cannot supply enough power?

We bring a generator and a voltage stabiliser. Thai venue power is not always steady, and a stabiliser is cheap insurance for a room full of delegates and a live presentation.

Do you work outside Phuket?

Yes — Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, Phang Nga and Bangkok. Travel and logistics are quoted separately.

What languages does your crew speak?

English, Russian, Thai and Chinese, so your speakers and organisers can talk to the technical team directly.
