MICE in Phuket — a produced programme, in photographs

The gallery below is from a MICE programme Double D Project produced on Phuket: conference room, staging, sound and lighting, catering and the evening gala, run by one team from the build to the de-rig. We have worked on the island since 2013 as Double D Project Co., Ltd., a registered Thai company, and we own the technical inventory rather than renting it in.

What a MICE programme here involves

Conference and plenary sessions

Room layout, stage, screen, PA and microphones, with a technician on site for the whole session. A simultaneous interpretation system — booth, transmitters and audience receivers — is 35,000 THB, which is what a room mixing Russian, English, Thai and Chinese actually needs.

Incentive days

Yacht days from 45,000 THB for up to 10 guests and 56,000 THB for up to 25, island dinners from 30,000 THB, beach programmes and team building. Transfers, catering and crew are part of the same quote.

Gala dinner

Venue from 25,000 THB for a restaurant, stage 20,000 THB, a 4 × 2.5 m LED wall 45,000 THB, host 20,000 THB for 3–5 hours, live musicians 18,000 THB, catering 2,500 THB per guest and a free flow bar 2,000 THB per guest.

Coordination on the day

One coordinator on site for the whole programme, working in Russian, English or Thai, so the client’s own team is not managing seven suppliers across a week in a foreign country.
