We rent [projectors with screens](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/product/projector-screen) for events in Phuket — for presentations at a [conference](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/corporate-events-mice-phuket), a love story at a [wedding](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/wedding), open-air cinema at a [villa](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/locations/villas) and a live feed from a camera. With delivery, set-up, a content check and a technician at the venue.

## A projector or an LED screen

A projector is cheaper and enough where the room can be darkened or the sun can be waited out: a conference room, a villa in the evening, a film on the lawn. An [LED screen](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/led-screen-rental-phuket) is needed where the picture must stay readable in daylight or on a brightly lit [stage](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/stage-rental-phuket) — it is brighter and does not fear glare. If in doubt, describe the venue and the time of day: we will say what is enough rather than sell the dearer option.

## What the rental includes

- A projector and a screen of the right size, [stands](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/product/stands-dj-stand) and mounts
- Delivery, set-up, focus and alignment of the picture
- A laptop or media server for playback if you have none
- A check of every file and adapter before the guests arrive
- A technician at the venue and the strike afterwards

Prices are per event and indicative: the cost of the item itself. The final quote depends on the length, access to the venue, power and the crew. The full list is in the [equipment catalogue](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue).

## What most often goes wrong

Adapters. A speaker's laptop with USB-C, a presentation in the cloud with no internet at the venue, fonts that shifted in someone else's Keynote. We ask for the files in advance, carry a set of adapters for every common port and run every presentation at the venue before the start. It is the dull part of the job, and it decides whether there is a fifteen-minute pause before the first talk.

## How we work

Send the date, the venue, the time of day and what is being shown. We come back with a specification and a fixed quote. For conferences we allow time to run through every speaker's presentation.
## What else we rent in Phuket
Most events need more than one item. Everything listed comes from one warehouse with one crew of technicians: one quote, one delivery and one team at the venue.

## Frequently asked questions
**How much does projector rental cost in Phuket?**

A projector with a screen — 5,000 THB per event. Delivery, set-up, adjustment and a technician at the venue are in the price.
**Will the picture be visible in daylight?**

Outdoors in daylight a projector will not do — an LED screen is needed there. In a darkened room and after sunset a projector is enough.
**Can we have a film night at a villa or on a beach?**

Yes, it is a common order. We bring the projector, the screen, the [sound](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/sound) and, if needed, a [generator](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/product/generator). The showing is planned after sunset.
**Do I need my own laptop?**

Not necessarily — we can bring a laptop or a media server for 1,000 THB. We ask for the files in advance to check them before the event.
**Are there adapters for different laptops?**

Yes, we carry a set for HDMI, USB-C, DisplayPort and old VGA. Every connection is checked before the guests arrive.
