# Neon party in Phuket — a UV-themed night

Source: https://www.doubledproject.com/en/portfolio/neon-party-eng

A neon party in Phuket produced end to end: UV light and lasers, sound system rental, DJ, neon face-art, decorations, catering and a mobile bar.

Neon is the most universal themed format of everything we do. It asks no elaborate costumes of the guests: a white T-shirt is enough, and ultraviolet does the rest. So a party like this is equally easy to hold for friends and for colleagues who see each other outside the office for the first time.

We build the evening around a [lighting](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/light) script: first a soft ultraviolet glow and a [photo zone](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/photo-zone-phuket), then a dense dance block with [lasers](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/product/laser-machine-2w) and [strobes](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/product/led-strobe-atomic), towards the finale — [special effects](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/special-effects-rental-phuket) and the group shot. That rhythm keeps the party from sagging in the middle.

The equipment and the paints are ours, so the format unfolds at any venue: a [villa](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/locations/villas), a bar, a [hotel](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/locations/hotels) [conference](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/corporate-events-mice-phuket) hall or an open terrace.

## What we took on

- Fluorescent make-up and accessories for the guests
- [Sound](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/sound), a [DJ](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/dj-phuket) set and a host

## Light and sound equipment hire for neon

A neon party [stands](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/product/stands-dj-stand) on equipment, and all of it is our own. Parled UVWP UV lamps and neon lamps, [LED Bar](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/product/led-bar-station) and LED Beam, Atomic strobes, lasers and [haze machines](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/product/hazer) — plus a JBL [sound system](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/sound-equipment-rental-phuket), speakers and [subwoofers](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/product/jbl-sub-prx-715), [radio microphones](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/microphone-rental-phuket), a [mixer](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/product/mixer) and Pioneer DJ equipment. Equipment hire in Phuket goes without middlemen: delivery, setup, a technician on site and dismantling are in the price.

Catering and a mobile bar are put together for the night format: bartenders, signature cocktails with glowing elements, shots, a non-alcoholic range, ice and tableware. The decorations and styling — neon signs, light-up letters, LED balloons, ultraviolet decor and a photo zone with face art in neon paints.

Equipment hire is possible without event planning too: take the light, the sound or the special effects separately for your own programme. Our event agency works across the whole island — Patong, Kamala, Bang Tao, Rawai, Chalong and Phuket Town.
