# Art exhibition and vernissage in Phuket Source: https://www.doubledproject.com/en/portfolio/art-exhibition-eng Art exhibition and vernissage in Phuket: turnkey organisation — gallery lighting, sound rental, host and live music, catering and a mobile bar. An exhibition is an event where the equipment has to be invisible. The light works for the works, not for the venue; the [sound](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/sound) holds a background level at which people can talk; the wayfinding leads the guest along the route without a sign at every step. We built the opening by exactly these rules. Exhibition [lighting](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/light) is a task of its own: the artist needs the colour on the wall to match the colour on the canvas, the visitor needs the glass not to glare. We choose fixtures with the right colour temperature and set the angles for every work. The same approach works for a collection presentation, a show, a corporate opening and the launch of a gallery or a showroom. ## What we took on - The layout of the exhibition and the guests' route through the venue - Exhibition light: fixtures, colour temperature, angles - Background sound, [microphones](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/microphone-rental-phuket) for the [speakers](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/pa-speaker-rental-phuket) and the opening - [Live music](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/cover-band-phuket) and a host, the timing of the official part - A reception, a bar and service [staff](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/staff) - Photo and video of the opening for the press and social media ## Equipment hire and the reception An opening needs light with true colour rendering and background sound that does not get in the way of conversation. The event equipment is our own: exhibition lighting fixtures, a JBL [sound system](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/sound-equipment-rental-phuket), compact speakers, [radio microphones](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/product/radio-mics) for the speakers, a mixing desk, a [projector](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/projector-rental-phuket) and a screen, an [LED screen](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/led-screen-rental-phuket) and a [generator](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/product/generator). Sound and [lighting equipment](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/light-equipment-rental-phuket) hire in Phuket is available as a separate service as well. The reception, catering and a [mobile bar](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/catering-bar-phuket): canapés, sparkling wine, signature cocktails, bartenders and [waiters](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/waiters-phuket), branded tableware. The decorations and styling — flowers, plinths, a press wall and wayfinding — are made so as not to argue with the works. The same set suits shows, collection presentations and the opening of a gallery or a showroom. - [Book your own party](#contacts) - [Business events](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/corporate-events-mice-phuket) - [Light and sound hire](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue) - [Business events](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/services/corporate-events-mice-phuket) - [Light and sound hire](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue) - [Venues in Phuket](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/locations/villas) - [Turnkey events](https://www.doubledproject.com/en) ## Past Events - [Romantic dinner on the beach in Phuket](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/portfolio/romantic-dinner-eng) — A romantic dinner on the beach in Phuket: table for two, candles and LED balls, live saxophone, champagne and a photographer.
