## What Double D Project service covers

Equipment and artists are half of an event. The other half is that someone brought everything to the venue, put it together before the guests arrived, laid the tables, planned the bar and took the equipment away at night. Double D Project covers this part in full: logistics, setup, catering, the bar, the cake, the fireworks.

Catering is calculated by the number of guests; the minimum order is 20,000 ฿. On a yacht everything is different: there is no kitchen, so it is either a set menu brought from the shore or a chef who cooks on board.

Purchasing is a separate service: we go, choose, bring it and account for it with receipts. The cost of the alcohol itself is not included — you pay the actual amount. Delivery to a yacht is quoted separately.

These are the items people most often forget to budget for. The equipment will not drive itself to a villa in Kamala or assemble itself on a beach — logistics and setup are quoted separately from the rental.

Fireworks need the venue's approval and weather without strong wind. A drone show is for large events: the programme is designed for a particular occasion and needs time in reserve for preparation.

## Turnkey organisation

If you would rather not put the evening together piece by piece, we take on the whole organisation: the venue, the programme, the equipment, the staff, the timing. The minimum order for organisation is 15,000 ฿. Separately, a manager can visit a location to view it — 5,000 ฿ per villa.

## What people order for a particular occasion

**Villa wedding.** Catering with served courses, tableware and table setting, a cake, a bar with a cocktail menu designed around the couple. Logistics are usually by truck: decor, sound and light travel together with the food. Setup starts several hours before the ceremony, so we agree access to the venue with the owner in advance.

**Corporate event at a hotel.** The venue takes on part of the service — the hotel has its own kitchen and its own staff. What is more often needed from us is equipment logistics, setup, meals for our team and the finale of the evening: fireworks or a drone show. Approvals are a separate matter: hotels have their own rules on noise and finishing time.

**Birthday on a yacht.** Everything is calculated differently here. There is no kitchen on board, so it is either a set menu from the shore or a chef who cooks on site. Alcohol is brought along, and delivery to the pier is quoted separately. The equipment is loaded and unloaded in a narrow window between trips, so the timing is tight.

**Gender reveal.** A short format of a couple of hours, but with a strong finale: a cake with a coloured filling, smoke cannons, a photographer. The service here is minimal — the reveal moment matters more than a long table.

## How logistics are calculated across Phuket's areas

The island is small, but the drive takes longer than it looks on the map. Rawai, Chalong and Phuket Town are the near zone — we get there quickly. Patong, Karon and Kata are the middle zone: winding roads and traffic in high season. Kamala, Surin, Bang Tao, Layan and Thalang are the far zone — the drive one way takes about an hour. Cape Yamu, Ao Po and the northern beaches are calculated separately, and trips to a pier for a yacht fall into the same category.

That is why logistics start at 2,000 ฿ for a car and 5,000 ฿ for a truck — the exact figure depends on the area and on how many trips are needed. For distant venues the crew sets off earlier, and a night-time de-rig is charged as it comes.

## What people often forget

Three things surface at the end and spoil the budget. **Staff meals** — at an event of four hours or more the team has to eat; that is 300 ฿ per person. **Night-time de-rig** — the equipment does not stay at the venue until morning unless the villa owner allows it. **Electrics** — villas often lack power, and then a generator and power cables are needed.
