The DR-07XP records from its built-in stereo microphones (A-B and X-Y) or from the mixer's output to a microSD card as WAV or MP3. 32-bit float recording never clips and needs no level setting — a loud set and a quiet speech come out equally clean. It runs up to 17.5 h on two AA batteries and works as a USB-C audio interface.
Size 6.8 × 2.7 × 16 cm, weight 0.18 kg. It is taken to keep the DJ's set from a party, the toasts and vows at a wedding, a band's performance or the sound for a video report.
Rented on its own; the technician connects it to the mixer.
