The Evolution Lite2 is a professional Linux-based karaoke system with a catalogue of more than 30,000 songs in English, Russian and Thai; hundreds come with the original videos. Songs are picked on an iPad by title and artist, two wireless microphones are included, and the picture goes over HDMI to a TV or a projector.
We set it up at birthdays, hen parties and corporate nights at villas, restaurants and bars — for an evening of singing in turns, or as a corner next to the DJ.
The system needs sound and a screen: a sound system is ordered separately from 7,000 ฿, a TV or projector from 5,000 ฿; where the venue has its own sound and TV we plug into them. One socket and a table for the unit.
