## Frequently asked questions
**How is an event agency different from a private event organiser?**

A private organiser is one person who gathers suppliers for your project and coordinates them. An event agency holds the roles in-house: producer, coordinator, technicians, artists and its own equipment. That means one estimate and one person answerable for the joints between sound, light, venue and programme.
**What is an event producer and what do they do?**

The event producer owns the staging: how the evening runs in time, where the stage [stands](https://www.doubledproject.com/en/catalogue/product/stands-dj-stand), when the light comes on, when the artists come out and what physically happens on site. The organiser makes sure the event takes place; the producer makes sure of how it looks and feels.
**Do we need a coordinator on site if everything is already agreed?**

Yes, if there are more than two suppliers. The coordinator keeps the timing, meets the artists and the caterers, solves clashes on the spot and makes sure the set-up is finished before the guests arrive. Without one, the client does this.
**Do you work with private and corporate events at the same time?**

Yes. Private and corporate events are the core of what we do: from a dinner for two to a conference and a corporate event for 300 guests. We have worked since 2013 in Phuket, Samui, Phangan and Bangkok.
